Script generator beta
Posted on 07. Jul, 2010 by Marcus in Freeware, lwxApps, Scripting
Last night I wrote a small web-app. I called it “Script Generator” and it’s a simple page with lots of checkboxes. The checkboxes let you chose diferent actions, and then it generates a Windows Shell script for you (*.cmd) based on your choices.
Most parts of the script is based on the blog entries I’ve written before here. From now on I will add the options to my script instead of writing long entries with lots of script-codes in it. That way neither you (the reader) or me (the writer) will be bored
The whole idea of making this web-app was that a very good friend needed some scripts to keep the computers at the office in shape. So instead of giving him a bunch of scripts, I gave him the possibility to chose what to use and to split the script in pieces and use the different parts at different times.
Perfect and user friendly, just the way I liket it.
Feel free to comment and tell me…
- If you like my web-app
- If you would like to see some more options on the web-app
- What other options should be available
- Just let me know if you like it and use it
The webpage is free to use. Have fun!
If it can make your life simplier… well then I am happy!
At the moment it’s on it beta stage. Have patience with it, and please let me know of any bugs.
